Power of Veto #4: The North Remembers

Houseguests, welcome to the Power of Veto competition. Do you think that luck is on your side right now? Well, we are about to find out. Tonight we will be once again playing in rounds. Each round, I will ask a question, and the FIRST person to post the correct answer here on the thread will be given a choice:

Choice 1: If you answer correctly, you get one point. That's it.

Choice 2: You can forfeit your one point, and instead pick one of three "boxes" that are presented to you. HOWEVER, if you do pick one of the boxes, you should know that it could either be a really good decision, or a very bad one. Hidden in one of the box will be either:

1. 2 points
2. An advantage in tomorrow "special challenge". You can only get this once. If you pick a box and win this, then the next time you have to make a choice, one of the boxes will have nothing in it. EVERYONE will get a chance to win this.
3. An elimination card. Picking the box with the elimination card will get you eliminated instantly from the competition..


The goal of this challenge will be to collect 4 points. The first houseguest to get to 4 or more points will win the Power of Veto.

I know that last round was perhaps not the most active, so the first round will be a "weeding out" round. I will post a question and the people who do not answer in time will be eliminated and won't be allowed to participate.



IN THE EVENT that all but one of you pick a box with an elimination card, then the last person left in the challenge will automatically win the competition, even if they don't have the 4 points.

In any round, in case of a tie, we will have a do over round between the people who tied until we have a winner. Then we will proceed to the second part of the round.

And as always, spelling counts and you can only guess once. Post your answers here on this thread. Each round will last 90 seconds except for the first round, which will last 3 minutes.
