Power of Veto Competition #6

Houseguests, welcome to the weekend Power of Veto competition. As always, everyone is eligible to compete tonight.


For this challenge, in your diary rooms, you must create a thread titled "Valar Morghulis". When you create that thread, your timer will start. So, I repeat, once you create the thread, your time will begin. You will then need to post pictures of famous musicians (people with wikipedia pages, I will check all of your pictures). The pictures you post though, MUST BE OF FAMOUS MUSICIANS WHO ARE DEAD AS OF TODAY @9pm ET.

Rules:

1. ONE PICTURE PER POST. If you post more than one photo per post, that post and the pictures in it will not count towards your total.

2. To avoid headaches for you and me, you can either host the image on imgur or tinypic or whatever, or just post the raw link. But if you post a dead link (404 page etc) it will not count. Save time and a headache and host your picture on an image hosting site before posting it. This site has an image hosting service too. If you dont know how to use it, I can show you.

3. ONE PICTURE PER POST.

4. The first post of your thread will be your first post so when you create the thread, post your first image. If you don't do that, you will receive a 10-post penalty.

5. ONCE YOUR TIMER STARTS, YOU WILL HAVE 1 HOUR TO POST AS MANY PICTURES/LINKS AS YOU CAN. REMEMBER, ONE PER POST, AND THEY MUST BE FAMOUS MUSICIANS WITH WIKIPEDIA PAGES WHO ARE DEAD.

6. I know this forum has a 10-second quota. So if I see any strange patterns (2 posts made with less than 10 seconds between each other) you will be immediately disqualified. No ifs or buts.

7. THE PEOPLE IN YOUR PICTURES MUST BE DEAD AS OF 9PM ET TONIGHT. IF THEY DIE BETWEEN 9PM ET TONIGHT AND 9PM ET TOMORROW, IT DOES NOT COUNT. IF I CANT FIND THEIR DATE OF DEATH, I AM GOING TO ASK YOU TO PROVE IT AND THAT CAN DELAY RESULTS.


You will have until tomorrow, Saturday @ 9pm ET to complete this challenge. 8:00:00pm ET is the latest you can begin. If you begin even one second after that time, your submission will not count.


After the time is up, the houseguest with the most VALID posts, will win the Power of Veto. I am saying this now so you don't say I didn't warn you: I know it's the weekend, and some of you might not be around when I post the POV results, so the winner of the POV will have 12 hours to make his/her decision. Talisa, you will need to check the forum sometime tomorrow night/Sunday morning to make sure you name a replacement nominee if you need to. If the veto is used, you will also be under a 12 hour deadline.

Also, I have posted the schedule for next week. Because of the nature of this challenge, and because I have to host for Rob Nation's BB that day, we will have Sunday off. No challenge Sunday.

If you all want to avoid the headache of finding a picture and posting the link/image, you can link me to their wiki page, AS LONG AS THE WIKI PAGE HAS A PICTURE OF SAID MUSICIAN. If that page doesnt have a picture of the musician, it will not count.

If someone reaches the maximum points possible, will you end the challenge? 360 is the maximum, and I would hate to waste an hour on a gorgeous Saturday if someone already got the maximum.

10 seconds for each post = 6 posts per minute
6 posts per minutes X 60 minutes to an hours = 360

Well I am on and off today, have tons of errands to run lol so cant keep track of who's done, mobile right now. If it helps, no one has done it yet

I feel like it's highly unlikely but who is 2nd in case Robb misses the 12 hours?

Well you had the 2nd most posts, but like I said, I didn't check them lol. I will later tonight or tomorrow morning, if I have to

Oh and in case Talisa doesnt name the replacement nominee in the 12 hours, she will get a strike for every 2 hours that she's late. 3 strikes and we know what happens then

I didn't want to have to name another person because I don't want to anger anyone else . It would have been sad though if somehow I caused my own husbands eviction. I don't think the nomination I put beside Sansa should matter. She's been MIA for a long time now and I'm sure we all know why. So please just vote her out.
